Family Learning

We believe that children learn and grow best when school and home work closely together and have lots of different ways for you to become involved in your child’s learning.

Some of our families enjoy ‘Family Learning’ a series of fun sessions for you and your child to enjoy with other parents and their children. We do lots of different areas of learning and around three each year such as: Fun with Reading, Grow Your Own and Fun With Food.

We are lucky to have lots of parents who come into each week to help with learning including spellings, reading and tables. Parent help is invaluable so, if you feel you can offer a spare hour or two each week, please contact the school office and we’ll be very happy to welcome you. All our helpers need to successfully complete an enhanced DBS check before coming into school.
