Valuing Everyone, Growing Together
At All Saints Church of England Primary School, our vision — “Valuing Everyone, Growing Together” — reflects our deep commitment to nurturing every child as a unique individual, loved by God and created with purpose. Rooted in our Christian ethos and inspired by our school scripture — “Fan into flame the gift of God” (2 Timothy 1:6–7) — we help our children to grow in wisdom, compassion, and confidence so they can contribute positively to the school, community, and wider world.
In doing so, we actively promote the fundamental British Values of:
Democracy
The Rule of Law
Individual Liberty
Mutual Respect
Tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs
These values are woven through our curriculum, worship, and daily school life, supporting our children to become thoughtful, respectful, and responsible citizens.
Democracy: Pupils have a voice in school through the School Council, Well Being Buddies, Class Worships and regular discussions. They learn that their opinions matter and that they can bring about positive change.
Rule of Law: Through our Christian values of justice, respect, and forgiveness, pupils learn the importance of laws in keeping everyone safe and ensuring fairness.
Individual Liberty: We encourage pupils to make choices within a safe and supportive environment, understanding their rights and responsibilities as members of a caring school family.
Mutual Respect: Respect is central to our school ethos. We teach pupils to value one another’s differences and to treat others as they wish to be treated.
Tolerance of Different Faiths and Beliefs: Guided by our Christian vision, we celebrate diversity and help pupils develop understanding and empathy towards people of all faiths, cultures, and backgrounds.
Through our teaching, worship, and example, we seek to nurture children who will grow in power, love, and self-discipline, living out both our Christian and British values in all they do.
