Little Saints (Pre-reception)

Little Saints is a thriving and popular pre-school, proudly operating under the school’s governance and providing high-quality early years education for children aged three and four. We also welcome children who turn three during their first term with us, often referred to as “rising threes”.

What makes Little Saints unique is that, unlike many traditional pre-schools, we are led by a fully qualified teacher and supported by a highly experienced teaching assistant.  We are managed directly by the school rather than a committee. This ensures consistently high standards of care, teaching and learning, giving every child the very best start to their educational journey.

Our children benefit from a bright, welcoming and well-resourced Early Years environment, complete with a large outdoor learning area. We believe children learn best through play, exploration and meaningful experiences, and we provide a rich balance of child-initiated play alongside carefully planned adult-led activities to support every stage of development.

At Little Saints, we value every child as an individual and aim to create a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where children feel happy, confident and eager to learn. We work closely with families to build strong relationships and ensure each child is supported to thrive socially, emotionally and academically.

As part of the wider school community, children at Little Saints benefit from a smooth and familiar transition into Reception. Through our carefully planned curriculum and daily routines, we help children develop independence, confidence and the key skills needed for the next stage of their learning journey.
