Forest School

Here at All Saints we are blessed with a wonderful outdoor learning environment and every inch is used to enhance learning for the children. The Pre-school,  Foundation class and Key Stage One all have their own outdoor spaces which the children access on a daily basis with areas including a stage, gardening areas, large construction, sand, water and much more.

In 2015 we became a Forest School and now work in partnership with Wild Woodcraft to ensure all of our children complete an exciting and challenging curriculum. Our large woodland is the base for our weekly Forest Schools sessions teaching the children vital learning skills such as teamwork, listening skills and problem solving through activities like shelter building, outdoor cooking and much more. Once inside you feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of school life. With a mature woodland, large pond area, bat boxes and bird boxes the children also learn all about our precious environment and the importance of protecting it.
