Supporting Our Armed Forces Families

At All Saints, we are incredibly proud of our links with the Armed Forces community and the many children and families within our school who have a military connection.

Whether a parent or carer is currently serving or is a veteran, we want our families to know that they are a valued and important part of our school community.

💙 Understanding Military Life

We recognise that being part of a military family can bring some unique experiences and challenges for children. These may include:

  • A parent or carer being away on deployment or training
  • Spending long periods of time apart from loved ones
  • Moving house or changing schools
  • Saying goodbye to friends and making new ones
  • Adjusting when a parent or carer returns home
  • Managing the different emotions that these experiences can bring

At All Saints, we are here to listen, understand and support our children through these times.

🌟 Our Service Superstars

Our military children are known in school as our Service Superstars!

We provide opportunities for our Service Superstars to come together, helping children to build friendships, share experiences and spend time with others who understand what military family life can be like.

Throughout the year, children can take part in a variety of activities, celebrations and special events, as well as access additional wellbeing support when they need it.

Most importantly, we want every Service Superstar to know that there is always someone in school they can talk to.

We are incredibly proud of the resilience, adaptability and strength our military children show, and we are committed to making sure they feel supported, understood and celebrated as part of our All Saints family.
